Lee Schor

Founder

“My journey in tech began with an obsession with the inner workings of the industry. For over 25 years, I’ve focused on building high-performance teams and navigating $1B+ scale and exit milestones across the industry’s most transformative eras.”

With more than 25 years of experience in tech, Lee’s career is rooted in a lifelong interest in technology. A practitioner long before he was an executive, his journey began at age 13—an obsession that started with his first IBM PC and a 2400 baud modem. At age 16, Lee worked on the sales floor of a leading national software retailer, beginning a trajectory that would span every major tech cycle.

He has held senior global roles spanning sales, marketing, strategy, and revenue operations, including his recent tenure as Executive Vice President of North America Sales at SonicWall and previously as Chief Revenue Officer at VIPRE Security Group, where he held P&L responsibility.

Throughout his career, Lee has contributed to multiple successful exits, including SonicWall’s $717M take-private by Thoma Bravo followed by its $1.2B sale to Dell, and the Sophos record-setting UK software IPO. Across these milestones, he has recruited, developed, and scaled global teams, orchestrated complex integrations, and partnered closely with private equity firms, boards, and executive leadership teams.

Lee founded Schor Group to apply a practitioner’s perspective to executive search—combining real operating experience with a disciplined, high-touch process designed to identify leaders who deliver measurable impact. Based in the U.S., Lee brings deep experience building, leading, and architecting global GTM strategies across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC—shaped by repeated execution in complex, high-growth technology environments.
